Ikan Pantau Goreng

Ingredients :

  • Ginger, pounded
  • Kaffir lime, squeezed
  • Salt
  • Pantau fish

Sambal Terasi Ingredients :

  • Cayenne
  • Chili
  • Sugar
  • Terasi (condiment made from pounded and fermented shrimp or small fishes)
  • Salt
  • Lime
  • Tomato

Directions :

Sambal Terasi :

  1. Grind the cayenne, the chili, and the tomato 
  2. Add sugar, salt, and terasi
  3. Squeze the lime, mix with the ground seasonings
  4. Serve sambal terasi

Pantau Fish :

  1. Wash the pantau fish, season with the salt, lime, and ginger 
  2. Fry the seasoned fish in heated oil until browned
  3. Serve the fried fish with the sambal terasi
