Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Arts and culture into two key elements in fostering good bilateral relations between Malaysia and other countries.
Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor said the two aspects of the relationship is actually the best binder in addition to other areas of cooperation between the countries.
"As relations between Malaysia and Russia, although we are geographically far apart, but both countries enjoy bilateral relations are so good in many aspects, including arts and culture," she said.
She said this when opening the exhibition by artist SamWarisanBatikKarunaCenter for Science and Culture in Russia today.
At the exhibition, these artists showcase the latest collection of paintings inspired by batik, entitled Dreams that never goes out.
She said, the Malay art of batik is now increasingly a magnet in the world is not only in textiles but also highlighted through painting.
She said, the art of batik painting is really good still not seen and even featured in the country.
"This is probably due to the lack of a center of art or art institute showcase like this," she said.
