Singaporeans in Brunei to pen poems

Bandar Seri Begawan - Seven personnel from Mediacorp Radio Singapore (Warna 94.2 FM) arrived in the country yesterday for recording sessions. The activity, which is part of a MoU programme between RTB and Mediacorp, is organised by Harmoni 94.1 FM.

The Singaporean group is led by Puan Zakiah Halim, Senior Deputy President of Malay/India Programme, Mediacorp.

During their four-day stay in Brunei, they will be working with RTB staff to record a series of quatrain poems (‘berbalas pantun‘) and also visit the Information Department.

According to a member from the programme committee, the recorded programme will be aired on Brunei radio during His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam‘s birthday celebration. By Malek Hashim
