MelayuOnline.com`s Second Anniversary:
Kings of Malay-based kingdoms Confirm of Attendance

Yogyakarta, MelayuOnline.com- At least 14 kings of Malay-based kingdoms spread throughout the Archipelago have confirmed their willingness to attend MelayuOnline.com`s Second Anniversary Celebration that is to be centered at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta Building on January 20^th, 2009. Those who have told their attendances are kings of Sekadau, Mempawah, Sambas, Kubu Raya, Landak, Sintang, Pontianak, Simpang Matan, Sanggau, Mulia Kerta, Tanjungpura, and Palembang Darussalam sultanates.

Mahyudin Al Mudra, the director of MelayuOnline.com, told that those kings view the celebration as a moment to tighten up the relations amongst the Malay culture upholders in the Archipelago.

“I wish there would be a cultural dialogue on the continuation of efforts to preserve and develop the Malay culture amongst them, as what MelayuOnline.com has been doing so far,” Mahyudin`s remarks.

The celebration, according to Mahyudin, is a further follow up of co-operative networks that have been successfully established between the Center for Research and Development of Malay Culture as the umbrella institution for MelayuOnline.com, MalayTourism.com, and RajaAliHaji.com, with some Malay-based kingdoms in the Archipelago.
