No One Can Dispute Mubarak As Undang, Says Negeri Sembilan MB

Seremban - Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan says the Negeri Sembilan government has recognised Datuk Mubarak Dohak as the Undang of Luak Sungai Ujong and no one can dispute it anymore.

"I would like to state here that the state government is not questioning the status of Datuk Mubarak Dohak as the Undang of Luak Sungai Ujong. He is the Undang of Luak Sungai Ujong recognised by the state government from then till now," he told reporters here Friday.

He was responding to certain quarters who are disputing Mubarak`s status reported by newspapers off late.

Mohamad said the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang of Negeri Sembilan had discussed and dismissed the issue raised by those quarters.

He said the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang chaired by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan is the highest power in the affairs of state customs and when the Dewan had made a decision, it could not be disputed.

The state government would accept any decision made by the Dewan, he said.
