Brunei Hosts Milestone MASTERA Meeting
Bandar Seri Begawan - The Southeast Asian Literature Council Secretariat Meeting or MASTERA is a gathering of literature experts from Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei where its development since almost 15 years has shown maturity as each meeting has been organised in a proper and professional manner in glorifying the Malay language within the region and internationally.
This was said by MASTERA Brunei Darussalam`s Chairman, Hajah Aminah Haji Momin, who is also the Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, at the opening of MASTERA at The Rizqun International Hotel.
The meeting here is a milestone for MASTERA and Brunei as it is the first time the meeting is hosted here.
Hjh Aminah also delivered several proposals for the upcoming work frame, which included the chairing of the meeting by the host country and to compile a more comprehensive workflow such as matrix preparations.
A total of 13 representatives from each participating country attended the meeting, including three from Malaysia, two from Indonesia and the rest from Brunei.
