Indonesian pavilion gets best exhibitor award in Berlin
London - The Indonesian Pavilion got the Fifth Best Exhibitor Awards for the Asian, Australian and Oceanian Region at the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) in Berlin which ended on Sunday.
"The assessment is based on the design, creativity, souvenir/information kit, originality and service of the attendants during the expo," First Secretary for Socio-Cultural and Promotion of the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin, Agus Priono, said on Monday.
Indonesia came after South Korea, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Papua New Guinea, he said. In 2007, the Indonesian pavilion won the second best award.
Some 180 countries took part in the just-ended expo. Indonesia has been taking part in such an expo since 1980. The pavilion got coverage from local tv stations.
