Borneo Mukun Competition, Belait Festival Will Be Held this Weekend
Kuala Belait, Brunei Darussalam- A Borneo Mukun competition (Pesta Mukun SeBorneo) will be held tomorrow at the Cheo Cheo Le Long Belait festival area in Jalan Maulana.
According to Belait District Office, the Borneo Mukun competition is part of the main event in the tourism programme Cheo Cheo Le Long Belait.
The objective of the competition is to gather the Mukun expertise from around Borneo and to expose the "mukun" culture not only to the adults but youth as well as children.
Meanwhile, the Belait Festival will be held on Sunday at the same venue.
The festival will begin from 7.30am till nighttime.
The festival will see various activities such as go-kart race, ATV ride, food and handicrafts sale and other interesting activities.
