Celebrating Bali’s Art & Culture
Bali, Indonesia - Long-awaited and predictably late in its publication, the schedule of Balinese and international arts performances for the 33rd Annual Bali Arts Festival or Pesta Kesenian Bali is now available - a scant two weeks before the event's commencement.
The Bali Arts Festival opens with its traditional Grand Parade in downtown Denpasar scheduled to kick-off at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011.
Daily performances by musical and dance groups from across Bali are the mainstay of daily performances during the festival. International artists from Australia and Japan will join visiting national art troupes from Kalimantan, West Sumatra, Nias, West Java, Central Java, Jakarta, Riau and Pontianak.
Workshops and film showings are also a part of this year's Festival.
