Kampong Style Food Fiesta
Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam - A kampong style food fiesta will be held this Sunday, June 12, at the Cultural and Tourism Gallery in Kg Ayer.
It is open to the public aged 25 years old and above. Food and drinks are also on sale. Thirty per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Brunei-Muara Orphans Fund.
The products must be made by the participants themselves and they must be from a Halal source.
The food fiesta is jointly organised by the Women Council Bureau of Kg Lurong Sikuna Consultative Council, Area 2 of Perpindahan Mentiri, Kg Pandai Besi IT, Kg Sg Kebun, Saba Darat 'A' and '13' and Kg Saba Laut Women's Bureau with the cooperation of Brunei-Muara District Office, Tourism Development Division, UBD's RAKIS Club, RIB and the Language & Literature Bureau.
Kg Lurong Sikuna village head Hj Ahmad bin Hj Bujang said over 30 entries have been received. Interested participants can obtain entry forms by .contacting +6738816873.
Other highlights include a literary presentation by the Language & Literature Bureau and cultural and poetry presentations by RAKIS Club, and a Brunei traditional food promotion.
