Participating in the performances that night were cultural groups from the Malaysian High Commission, Philippine Embassy and Indonesian Embassy.

The cultural group from the Indonesian Embassy came under the leadership of Madam Rimah Herijanto and directed by Hjh Lies Dyana Nazirman.

The Indonesian Embassy showcased five dances and three singers. The act included a Poco-Poco dance and the staging of dangdut songs.

Staging the Poco-Poco dance were Rina Syafril, Dyah Syahrial, Eko Sutrisno, Wiwien Tanjung and Aik Rudy.

Present to watch the performances from the cultural team was Minister Counsellor at the Indonesian Embassy Dr Muhamad Nazirwan Hafiz MM.

"The embassy always takes part in cultural events organised by the Brunei government, particularly during the monarch`s birthday, Independence Day and other major events," said Dr Muhamad Nazirwan Hafiz MM.

"This shows that there is cultural solidarity between both nations in developing the cultures of Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam," he added.
