Moresco

Moresco is an early form of Fado, a kind of music historically related to Portuguese culture. The instrument used in Moresco plays is ukulele. In the past, Moresco is dance music of Moor people that came up in Portugal and Spain in the 15th century and was later spread out in the Netherlands by the 16th century. Then it was a domino effect, Moresco soon got its fame and was adored by many people. In about the 19th century, Moresco began to be widely known as keroncong music. After a long time, Keroncong finally reached Malay archipelago, starting from Yogyakarta, Solo, to abroad such as Johor, Malaysia.
