Singapore artists, students collaborate for 5th SMU Arts Festival
Singapore - Singapore now offers almost 60 arts activities daily, which is more than three times the number from just a decade ago.
This was revealed by Information, Communication and the Arts Minister Dr Lee Boon Yang. He was speaking at the opening of the SingaporeManagement University`s (SMU) fifth Arts Festival.
The arts festival is one of the 20 performances lined up for the two-week festival which will run from January 18 till February 1.
Local artists are joining hands with some 250 SMU undergrads for the shows which range from visual to screen art and performances.
SMU said this year`s theme is "non/sense" and the shows explore the interaction between the arts and the complex dimensions of the human senses
Besides the arts festival, there are also two visual art exhibitions which will run till February 29.
