National Academic Writing Competition`s Committee Boosts up the Awards

Yogyakarta, MelayuOnline.com, Good news for you participating in National Academic Writing Competition held by MelayuOnline.com since the awards will be boosted up twice. Now, the committee provides IDR 25.000.000 of total awards.

The details of the total awards are below:

  1. First winner gets IDR 10.000.000
  2. Second winner gets IDR 5.000.000
  3. Third winner gets IDR 4.000.000
  4. Fourth winner gets IDR 2.500.000
  5. Fifth winner gets IDR 2.000.000, and
  6. Sixth winner gets IDR 1.500.000

The awards will be boosted up since the financial support coming from Riau Provincial Government. Such support came out from the awareness of Riau Provincial Government towards the advancement of the education in Indonesia.

In a gathering of Riau people settling Yogyakarta taken place at Graha Sabha Permana building in Gadjah Mada University on Thursday (15/11/2007), the governor of Riau Province, HM. Rusli Zainal, SE., MP, asked Mahyudin Al Mudra about the progress of National Academic Writing Competitions held by MelayuOnline.com.. Zainal greatly supports that writing competition. Similarly, Drs. H. Daeng Rusnadi, M.Si. – Regent of Natuna District, Riau Islands Province, also gives some supports for the writing competition.

Following the Riau vision 2020, Riau Provincial Government actively assemble some cultural and academic programs to make that vision come true. Zainal said “Culture and knowledge are two important elements to establish a better future of our nation. Knowledge is a prerequisite of physical advancement, while culture must be there to encourage nation`s morality. Both culture and knowledge have to walk in line hence physical advancement can be balanced with moral advancement. (RI/brt/VII/11-07)
