Two museums, SOTA receive generous book donations

Singapore- The National Museum of Singapore, Asian Civilisations Museum and the School of the Arts have received a generous literary boost.

Times Publishing Limited has donated more than 9,000 books to their reference libraries. This is one of the largest such donations ever seen in Singapore.

It comprises over 4,000 different titles sourced from publishers around the world. They span a variety of topics including architecture, design and modern art.

These were picked specifically with providing specialist materials for higher arts studies.

For its contribution, Times Publishing has been recognised as a Partner of Heritage by the National Heritage Board. (CNA/ms)
