Vietnam, Indonesia Promote Economic Ties

Nhan Dan, Vietnam - Vietnam and Indonesia discussed and put forward specific measures to further bilateral co-operation at the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technological Co-operation in Ho Chi Minh City on April 25.

The two countries agreed to boost co-operation in trade and investment, energy, banking, information technology, culture, tourism, education and training, food production, seafood processing and create favourable conditions for businesses of the two countries to co-operate in investment and trading activities.

The Vietnamese delegation is led by Trade Minister Vu Huy Hoang while the Indonesian delegation is headed by Trade Minister M.E. Pangestu.
