International Batik Exhibition In Pekalongan
Pekalongan, Central Java - The International Batik Exhibition of two Pekalongan sentra productions will be organized in Pekalongan, Central Java to move the market, once the batik village was established.
The Head of Tourism Office of Pekalongan Doyo Budi Wibowo said the international scale event is held in every 2 years and will be held on April 29th up to May 3rd 2009.
Budi Wibowo added that the Pekalongan International Batik Exhibition is expected to familiarize batik as an Indonesian cultural heritage. Therefore, this year's exhibition takes a theme: My Batik, Our Batik, Batik of the World. (Ani)
