God

a:3:{s:3:

God is often related to a superpower matter that is conceived as the creator, setter, overseer, and ruler of the human being and universe. God, likewise, is most associated with a personal being, incorporeal, the source of all moral obligation, and the spirit or consciousness, who is capable of uniting into the universe.

As a universal concept, divine concept of God has been known by every single cultural civilization developing in the world. However, there is no a uniform understanding on this concept for the result of cultural diversities. Those diversities may be seen on the various ways of people in worshiping, glorifying, and revering God.

Likewise, God amongst the Malay people is often conceived in different ways. For instance, the divine concept of the Muslim Malay people will certainly differ from the divine concept existing amongst the Talang Mamak tribe, Toledo Dalam tribe, and Sakai tribe. Even more, such difference can likewise be found within the Islam itself, in which some Muslim people have multiform understanding towards God such as Muslim Waktu Lima and Muslim Wetu Telu in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia.

MelayuOnline.com attempts to explain and elaborate the divine concept of God based on the multiform understanding towards God like above. MelayuOnline.com limits the discussion solely on the Malay society scattering over the Archipelago and all countries having Malay cultural background.
