Lukah Gilo

Lukah Gilo is a dance accompanied by music of various instruments. Lukah Gilo is performed by a bomoh (a shaman) to make the lukah that he carries dance along. Lukah is a tool for fishing made of bamboo and rattan-wattle. Lukah Gilo is one of Malay traditional dances performed in Riau Province as well as Minangkabau. In the land of Minang, Lukah Dance is known as pre-Islamic heritage.
