Historical Grave

Grave is the synonym of cemetery; is a deep trench dug in the ground for burying a dead body. The grave is one of historical legacies in Malay region, whether the grave of kings and their family, or of famous prominent figures. The kings and their family graves were mostly located in the area of palace or mosque. Yet due to some causes such as warfare or political instability, their grave may locate far from the palace. Some available graves are, more often than not, visited by people who want to get blessing, especially the graves of influential prominent religious figures or who has, being regarded by the society, achieved the high level of religiosity.
