Workshop on Perpetuating Malay Culture

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam - The Workshop on Perpetuating the Malay Culture through poem-writing and stage performances is designed to enhance the growth and dynamism of the arts atmosphere as well as development of the Malay Cultural Activities in Brunei Darussalam.

The workshop entered its fourth day with Multimedia on the Islamic Poetry Theatrical Collaboration Training. According to an RTB survey of the training, the participants were given the emphasis on the seriousness and body movement as well facial expression that exacty befit the poetry verses presented. The five-day workshop gives Brunei Darussalam's culturalists the opportunity to have a closer look at the beauty and diversity of the art. A number of the participants shared their experience they had gathered from the workshop. Some of them described it as a refresher course for them, especially pertaining to performing arts. They also learnt to be more appreciative towards the beauty of poetry writing and presentation.
